Many of us have experienced team building events that were enjoyable in the moment, but didn’t deliver lasting change. Often, these activities focus more on team bonding without truly fostering longer-term team building.

The key element often missing is a unified sense of purpose. That’s why our programs are uniquely crafted to support our charity partners. When your team works together for a charitable cause, they rally around a common objective of making a difference to others.

This is the essence of Team Building with Purpose. We’ve revolutionised team building by combining fun and meaningful activities that give back to charities. These activities are designed not just to be enjoyable, but create lasting changes in team dynamics whilst contributing to a good cause. In addition to what the activities deliver for our charity partners, they also receive 50% of the net profit from each event - at least $500 +GST.

Involving 450 people from across the Bank in three separate events in Sydney and Melbourne, the goal was to build rapport, relationships and team cohesion within the group to set them up for success for a large and complex change management project.

In the session, we explored the concepts of Positive Psychology and happiness in relation to the work of charity Starlight Children’s Foundation and uncovered team members’ superpowers before putting together ‘Sparkle’ packs for sick kids in hospital.

The unique charity focus gave them a unified sense of higher purpose and fostered team understanding, appreciation, collaboration, harmony and trust.

The goal of this session was to build deeper personal connections amongst the group of 60 staff from across Australia and New Zealand within a compressed agenda and shorter than usual time slot.  

In the session, we explored the concepts of resilience and collaboration in relation to the work of the charity Redkite and uncovered team members’ talents to design and make origami kites for families experiencing childhood cancer. The unique insight into this charity served to inspire positivity, confidence and hope, and left the group energised.
