Sometimes we all need a little injection of frivolity into our lives. And who best to lead us out of the grey gloom of an average Thursday in March than the foremost patron saint of Ireland, St Paddy! We’ve got an eclectic mix of St Patrick’s Day bars, pubs and restaurants all celebrating the day; look no further for your Guinness!

Check out these great St Patrick’s Day bars that are definitely worth a visit

Mr Foggs

This year, world-renowned adventurer, Mr Phineas J. Fogg has invited his Irish cousin, Seamus Fogg, to host the St Patrick’s Day festivities at the Tavern. The two haven’t seen each other in some time, so you can be guaranteed a raucous evening (in true St Paddy’s style), accompanied by a traditional Irish band – and whiskey cocktails!

William IV

Tucked away on Shepherdess Walk, Hoxton, in a beautiful Georgian building lies The William IV, a local pub with a lot of charm. Don’t expect a rowdy St Paddy’s celebration here though; here revellers will be sitting in winged arm chairs by the open fire, delighting over a craft ale.

Bentley’s

Can anybody say classy? Chef and owner of Bentley’s Oyster Bar and Grill, Irish- born Richard Corrigan shows guests an authentic Feast of St Patrick’s, with a special family style lunch and entertainment from 12PM on the 17th. You’ll be guaranteed a St Patrick’s day celebration with your guests that everyone is enjoyable and unique.

The Sun Tavern

This Hackney bar will be flying the Emerald flag high in the sky on the St Patrick’s Day! Offering a very English and very calm St Paddy’s day celebration, The Sun Tavern will be offering free pies and mash (provided by local shop G. Kelly) and live music.
