About Banking Hall

Banking Hall is the perfect venue to impress your guests. Hire the Banking Hall if you are looking for somewhere with charm and grandeur.

The Grade II listed Main Hall was designed in the 1930s and has a unique Art Deco charm. With a Mezzanine level that looks out over the Bank of England, the space is flexible and can be adapted to accommodate your needs – whether for a private dinner, standing reception, wedding banquet, party, conference or exhibition.

The venue can accommodate groups ranging from 70 to 800 people. In these glamorous surroundings, the chefs offer exquisite menus to accompany the exceptional event venue. The venue’s dedicated events team is well versed in delivering high-end, unique events and will work with you to create an exceptional experience for your guests.

Please note this venue does not sell space by the hour. Please select Daytime for a 08:00 - 17:30 session or Evening for an 18:30 - 00:00 session.

All pricing is based on minimum food and beverage spend with a proportion of room hire.

Our Executive Head Chef Ronnie Murray and his chefs deliver exceptional food at all Camm & Hooper venues.

Ronnie joins us after a career spent working in many of London’s top restaurants, including J Sheekey, The Ivy and Scott’s of Mayfair, where he was on the launch team. Ronnie previously spent seven years as Executive Group Chef for Hix Restaurants, looking after everything from daily changing restaurant menus to intimate dinners and festival catering.

Ronnie’s focus is on using the best seasonal ingredients and building delicious dishes around those. ‘I like to make the ingredients the star,’ he says. ‘I love to showcase fantastic meat, fish and vegetables. We’ve got so much fantastic produce in Britain, let’s look on our doorstep before we go further.’

Ronnie’s developed some very special menus for our venues – but if you need something bespoke, he’s on hand to create a unique offering suitable for your event.

‘The days of putting a three-course menu under people’s noses and saying, “Pick one of those” is long gone,’ he laughs. ‘If clients are holding big weddings or launches, it’s important the food fits into their style.’

With a career spanning such esteemed foodie hotspots, a passion for beautiful ingredients and real creative inspiration, Ronnie brings a fresh and exciting approach to the menus at all Camm & Hooper venues.
