The Queen’s House has an extraordinary history; it is the only major remnant of the vanished Tudor royal palace at Greenwich, where Henry VIII and Elizabeth I were born, and the centrepiece of what is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Conceived as a ‘house of delight’ for James I’s queen, this exquisite former royal residence is set against the leafy backdrop of Greenwich Park and is the jewel in the down of the World Heritage Site. Designed by the pioneering architect Inigo Jones, the 400-year old Queen’s House is Britain’s first and finest classical building and a masterpiece of 17th-century architecture. It is now filled with art and design classics both old and new, including paintings by great British and European masters. The House was designed as a place of pleasure and celebration – a tradition that continues today making it ideal for gala dinners, corporate hospitality, award ceremonies and product launches.

How do I get to the venue?
The closest stations are Greenwich and Cutty Sark DLR, however, for maximum comfort and luxury we advocate getting a boat service to Greenwich pier which is less than 10 minutes walk from The Queen's House
What are your restrictions?
Due to the historic floors and collections we allow light coloured drink service only during standing receptions. In addition, each venue does have outdoor space permitted for smoking however, smoking, naked flames, candles, confetti, helium balloons or dry ice are not permitted within the venues. Whilst we kindly ask guests not to wear stiletto heels in The Queen's house, any guests who do will be given a heel protector upon arrival.
