On entering the 1929 art deco Grade II listed building, you are greeted with the elegant staircase and striking marble walls. From the stairway, guests are led through to the Main Hall, which is the very essence of grandeur with oak and walnut panelled walls, luxurious crimson curtains and magnificent crystal chandeliers.

FAQs

  1. What are the delivery times?
    There is a loading area with lift access to both the hall and kitchen with restricted use between 08:00 and 00:00 only. There is no on-site parking for any hirer or contractor.

  2. Is there car parking near by?
    There is a multi-storey car park within 100 yards of the hall on Porchester Terrace North; Waitrose Car Park.
    Slightly further is Q-Park Queensway and Apcoa Parking. Our clients are entitled to a 15% discount at Q-Park. There is ample street parking locally after 18:30 Monday to Friday; 13:30 on Saturday and all day Sunday.

  3. What times are you open?
    The hall is available seven days a week;
    Monday-Thursday: 11:00-23:30
    Friday and Saturday: 08:00-00:30
    Sunday: 14:00-23:00
    An extension to closing times may be available on request.

  4. Do you allow suppliers who are not on your recommended list to perform at your venue?
    Yes we do, we just require all details and documentation from them prior to the event.

  5. Can we bring in our own AV team?
    Yes you can, however we do have a list of recommended suppliers that have worked at the venue many times, including AV, DJ, Bands, photographers and more. For more information please contact the venue.

  6. Can we use our own security?
    Due to the nature of the venue our recommended security supplier must be used for all events. Additional security can be brought in to assist if desired.
