Curzon’s Hoxton venue benefits from three modern screens, each with reclining seats and side tables, the venue is fully equipped for conferencing, presentations and corporate hospitality. If you’ve been to a Curzon before, you probably know what to expect. The now nationally spread series of cinemas shines a light on alternate filmic voices whilst also putting on the big-name favourites.

The Mondrian is a squat five-star hotel sitting at the intersection of Curtain Road and Scrutton Street. Well-established as a boutique, high-end place to stay, the Mondrian is full of surprises. Take its intimate, 35-seater screening room that is plushly decorated and would be the perfect setting for a very private film night. Boasting its own cocktail bar, with dining options available, it’s a great hidden cinematic treasure in the heart of Shoreditch.

Directly due north of the Mondrian, on Shoreditch’s Old Street, you’ll find the Courthouse: a Baroque Grade II listed hotel that hides a fantastic screening room in its extensive interior. With 196 seats you can pretty much experience a full-scale cinema experience sequestered away from the general public.

The ambience is chilled out yet immersive, with stowaway tables and leather seats allowing you to settle in while the state-of-the-art Dolby CP750 sound processor and Micro-perforated 8m x 4m screen whisk you away to cinematic landscapes. As part of the hire, a dedicated technician will also be on hand to ease any Luddite fears you may harbour.

Colour’s screening space is a unique, striking area that is perfectly geared towards performances and presentations, be they live or on screen. Of particular note is the LED-dotted netting which drapes from the ceiling: the multicoloured canvas brings an extra element to any screening event in Shoreditch.

In terms of capacity, you can have 100 seated or 250m standing. The sound system is also impressive, linking up with the aforementioned

TT Liquor is a Shoreditch institution. From the front you'd be forgiven for taking it as an apothecary; bottles of brownish spirits line the walls up to the high ceilings; wooden shelves and rickety corridors give the bar an atmosphere of labyrinthian charm. Oh, and there's a 52-seater cinema burrowed away in the back.

The cinema space is old-world and sophisticated - plush brown seats sit on the hardwood planks, surrounded by enough gloomy brickwork and dark wood panelling to make it feel like a private member's club. It's available to private hire and would make a fantastic after-work presentation, or just somewhere to watch every Humphrey Bogart film.
