About Clayhill Arts

A change is as good as a rest, so why not hold your next corporate retreat in the idyllic surroundings of the Quantocks near Bridgwater in Somerset.

Clayhill Arts is a state-of-the-art multipurpose facility offering a flexible conference suite, multiple break-out areas and comprehensive presentation facilities as well as on-hand IT support.

Converted from a series of old farm buildings to an exemplary standard, this unique corporate retreat is the ideal setting for entertaining leading clients or inspiring and motivating key personnel.

They will ensure all your catering needs are met so you do not have to worry about a thing. Menus can be prearranged to meet your specific requirements and produced by the local chefs on site. Beverages such as freshly grounded coffee and a wide selection of tea will be served during your stay.

Located amongst 140 acres of arable farmland with views across the Quantock Hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty, there are plenty of places to just take a little breather.

The fresh air and tranquillity are surely conducive to productive thinking. You won’t need to go far for more adventurous pursuits; the Quantock Hills offer plenty of opportunities for team bonding through walking, cycling, horse trekking and orienteering.

When evening comes you can relax by a log burning fire in the snug, crack open the BBQ, relax by the outdoor fire pits or unwind in your private luxury accommodation.

The en-suite accommodation can sleep up to 16 people, across a mixture of twin and double rooms. Depending on your requirements, they can host an intimate retreat for 8, or a sharing retreat for 12–16 people.

Catering

Catering is not included in the hire cost of Clayhill Arts but is an additional add on. Depending on your group size we are able to cater a buffet style lunch for £10 (+VAT) per head and a formal seated dinner for £12.50 (+VAT) a head. Catering is provided on site using local ingredients and menus can be created to fit your needs. A sample menu is available to download.

Accomdation:

If your team meeting, presentation or corporate retreat is branching across several days we have accomdation available on site in the form of 8 luxury private ensuite bedrooms. Each room has tea and coffee making facilties, outdoor seating and a private entrance. The rate is £130 per night per room with a continetal breakfast included.

IT Equipment & Support:
*We have presentation facilties in the studio including projectors, speakers, microphones, flipcharts and suitable tables/chairs etc. There is WIFI throughout the property. Our friendly staff are on hand to help set up and provide IT support.

Accesibility:
*All communal areas are wheelchair accessible. A mobility lift has been installed, as well as mobility apparatus in the toilets. Additionally, we host a fully accessible bedroom with en-suite wet room for residental guests.

Environmental Policy:
*With an interest in biodiversity and situated in the heart of rural Somerset, we encourage wildlife and look to make Clayhill Arts environmentally sustainable. As such the Granary has a solar array on the roof that provides the whole site’s electricity and water is provided from a natural spring which we process, filter and soften. The heating is generated by a biomass boiler that burns wood pellets to generate heat, making the site carbon neutral and self-sufficient.
