The exclusive hire of the First Floor at Opera Tavern gives you access to the very best of private dining in Covent Garden.
Opera Tavern is a beautiful two-storey bar and restaurant in the heart of London’s theatre district. Located on Catherine Street, just opposite the Drury Lane Theatre, seconds from the Opera House, a stone's throw from The Strand and a lovely walk across Waterloo Bridge from the South Bank, booking the First Floor secures ample space for 45-60 guests to enjoy the very best that group dining in London has to offer. The exposed brickwork, bold artwork and the flattering low-lighting given off by a delicate central chandelier create an atmosphere of relaxed elegance, while its theatre box windows make it the perfect place to sit and watch the world go by.
Overseen by executive chef Ben Tish and head chef Jamie Thickett, the menu at Opera Tavern is designed for sharing and features a wide selection of small dishes inspired by Ben’s travels across Spain and Italy, the ground floor even contains an open charcoal grill where they cook up a stunning variety of tasty meat treats including their very popular mini Ibérico pork and foie gras burger. Naturally, no party in London would be complete without something to toast, so of course the exquisite food at Opera House is complemented by a diverse list of wines and guests are encouraged to choose from the “Cellar Collection”, made up of carefully selected Spanish and Italian wines.
First floor hire of Opera Tavern is perfect for dining or corporate events and comes complete with Wi-Fi and audio capabilities. The £1,500 p/day rate is a minimum spend price and guests are encouraged to dine from one of the set menu selections - designed specifically for large groups.
