The riverside InterContinental® London - The O2 hotel stands out in the buzzing Greenwich Peninsula, with 453 luxury rooms, a beauty spa and a ballroom for up to 3,000. Spectacular Canary Wharf views are best enjoyed over cocktails in Eighteen Sky Bar, one of several dining destinations in the new hotel. The O2 arena is steps away and the Emirates Air Line zips over the Thames to ExCel London. The Thames Clipper and the Jubilee line offer fast links to London’s West end and London City Airport.

At its core, our conference centre is UK's largest pillar-free Ballroom with a capacity for up to 3,000 people, with impressive 7.2m high, 3,013sqm ballroom. Located on the first floor of the hotel the Ballroom is one of the largest single event spaces in Europe, accommodating up to 3,300 delegates for a reception or as many as 2,400 for a dinner with full staging and dance floor, providing the perfect setting for large-scale award ceremonies, congresses and glamorous parties. The space offers multiple configurations for smaller events as the Arora Ballroom can be divided into 14 syndicate rooms.

Delegates are welcomed with a bright entrance to the Arora Ballroom with a dramatic double height pre-function area hosting floor-to-ceiling windows providing panoramic views of the River Thames, Canary Wharf and beyond onto London’s bright and vibrant city centre.
The Ballroom has the capacity to host corporate events including exhibitions, conferences, vehicle showcases and product launches.

How many rooms does the Greenwich suites have?
9 meeting rooms excluding the foyer area which are perfect for small to medium scale meetings, private events, training days and workshops. Most of the rooms have natural daylight with floor to ceiling windows overlooking The River Thames or The O2.

Is there a business centre? It is complimentary and available 24 hour. Facilities include computers, fax and photocopying which can be accessible anytime throughout the event.

What are the dimensions of the Arora Ballroom?
75.7m (length) x 39.8m (width) x 7.2m (height)

Can you have cars in the Ballroom?
You can bring cars into the Arora Ballroom through the 2 x loading lifts located at the back of the hotel, size 6.3 x 2.1 x 2.5 m.

How many rigging points are there?
There are 98 rigging points in the Arora Balloom. All rigging must be provided by the in house AV company – AVC Live. Quotes are available upon request.

Who does the rigging?
Rigging must be supplied by our in house AV company without failure. What are the charges? £18.00 per pin spot.

Power charges?
3-Phase power connection at 32amp at £300 inclusive of VAT per day per connection,
