Time flies when you’re having fun. We’re almost halfway through 2025, with June 30 fast approaching. Now is the time to review your event calendar - how are your events progressing? Do they still require venue or supplier sourcing, or have they been forgotten? 

Once you get a clear overview of how your events are tracking, you can ensure you enter the new financial year with a clear plan ahead, and events that are set up for success. 

Make Sure All Your Events for the Year Are Captured 

It happens to the best of us- larger projects take up time and resources, meaning the small meetings and private dining events can fall down the priority list. Take a moment to review your full calendar for the rest of the year- are there any events that have fallen by the wayside? Taking time to polish your calendar will give you eyes over the progress of each event, allowing plenty of time to plan for maximum impact.

Booking behaviour has changed- many venues are now being booked more than 10 months in advance for busy periods (end of year events like Christmas parties, award nights and gala dinners are already filling up). Consider your events for the rest of the year; will they require extensive styling or AV integration, or do you need to find the perfect caterer for your EOY gala dinner? Make a note of what each event will require, and start reaching out to your suppliers; not only will this give you plenty of time to work through any logistical or financial challenges, but allows time to find the best solution for your event needs.
