This warehouse converted space aesthetically compliments the significantly sized ship, and is situated directly beside it, on the river. Walk directly off the ship and find yourself in the open plan entertainment space, perfect for indoor outdoor entertainment for any style event, from cocktails to a sit down dinner. Shed 2’s ideal position, alongside the Melbourne Convention Centre, Exhibition Centre and Yarra River makes it perfect for your next event immerse yourself in a unique experience that will keep guests talking and engaged. A well-established venue which has been a primary event space on the South Wharf precinct since 2014. The venue is beautifully developed as a premium space for events ranging from social to corporate occasions and product launches.

Aerial boasts memorable views of the CBD, an abundance of natural light and custom built bar and arrival lobby. This is a beautiful space for breakfasts, lunch and conferencing as well as red carpet gala dinners. It's spacious enough to accommodate up to 600 guests.

Guests arrive at ground level into the atmospheric foyer, drawn up the sweeping central staircase into the elevated cocktail area. Modern and chic, the arrival bar gives a grand first impression, with shimmering white marble floors and striking gold detail.

Cargo Hall

Showtime Events Centre is the birthplace and flagship venue of Showtime Event Group. Originally known as docking shed 11 during Melbourne’s formative days in the 1800’s, this heritage venue has lived an exciting life. Situated along South Wharf Promenade, parallel to the Yarra River and gazing over the Melbourne city skyline. Showtime Events Centre maintains the proximity and prowess of the CBD while remaining true to the rich history of the wharf.

The warehouse-style venue was repurposed and redesigned in 2010, solely for events. Purpose built features are apparent upon entry. Fully integrated lighting, sound desk and audiovisual are the expected minimum at this riverside venue. A custom-designed chandelier bar is always an attention-grabber as it sits down the far end of the venue above the large stone bar top.

Original, wide hardwood floorboards provide a nod to a bygone era seldom available anywhere in Melbourne. Full amenities including a modern green room and elegant bathrooms add an air of luxury into what is considered to be a great example of industrial-influenced design. While wrought laser-cut iron walls are illuminated by coloured LED’s from behind, modernising the venue in a balanced juxtaposition of old and new.

The addition of the riverside marquee is the perfect setting for pre-dinner drinks or as an arrival space for guests, any time of the year. Often used to great effect with food stations, canapes or whisky bars to provide that extra exciting element.

The Hellenic Museum was founded in 2007, with a mission to inspire Australians about Hellenic culture from the ancient to the contemporary.

The Hellenic Museum was founded by the late Melbourne businessman and philanthropist Spiros Stamoulis . Having emigrated from Greece to Australia as a 12 year old in the 1950s, Spiros went on to build a series of successful businesses which enabled him to give back to the city which had embraced both him and his family.

The former Royal Mint is of architectural significance as one of the most impressive 19th century government buildings in Victoria, and one of few Australian buildings in the true Renaissance revival style, and a virtual copy of the Palazzo Vidoni Caffarelli , attributed to Raphael, in Rome.

Sean Godsell ‘s much anticipated M Pavilion officially opened to the public on 7 October 2014. Now having been permanently relocated from the Queen Victoria Gardens to the Hellenic Museum courtyard, the structure is intended to be reminiscent of the Aboriginal humpy, both in form and function. It is a place to gather, converse and connect.

And it still serves that purpose today. With a combined capacity for 500 cocktail, including wet weather coverage for up to 200 guests, it provides a secluded secret garden in the heart of the CBD. A fully integrated bar, and kitchen facility ensure a high level of service whatever your style of event.
