State Library of New South Wales

The Paintings Galleries is located in the heart of Sydney’s CBD, the Library has venues to accommodate a diverse range of events, from small meetings to large workshops; presentations, film screenings, hybrid events, cocktail parties, weddings and more. More than 300 original artworks from the Library’s unique collection of landscape and portrait paintings are on permanent public display. Located on Level 1 of the Mitchell building are the Painting’s Galleries which include 3 large interconnecting spaces with high ceilings and parquet flooring. It can accommodate up to 350 guests.
