Electra House is located at 131 King William Street, Adelaide, South Australia. The venue is a late Victorian classical building, originally built in 1900, with a striking facade featuring Corinthian columns, intricate stonework, and distinctive red granite. 

The interior spans three levels with new bars, dining areas, and function spaces. The venue also features a large beer garden with exposed brickwork, and a new external staircase that connects the different levels.

The East Side function room at Electra House is a sophisticated space inspired by New York’s Upper East Side apartments. It features minimalist designer lighting, plush lounges, polished timber floors, and marble accents, creating an elegant ambiance. The room accommodates up to 100 guests for cocktail-style events or 40 for seated functions. Amenities include a private bar, balcony, Wi-Fi, and audiovisual equipment, making it ideal for various events such as corporate meetings, private dinners, and social gatherings.

This venue features two distinctive spaces: the Chamber Bar and the Garden Bar. The Chamber Bar offers a bright, relaxed atmosphere with magnificent high benches, booth seating, and dramatic 30-foot high ceilings adorned with classic 1900s plasterwork and pillars. This architecturally designed room creates an uplifting vibe during the day, and at night, the shutters enclose the area to create an intimate space. It can accommodate up to 120 guests, with the option to include the Garden Bar for an additional 190 guests. ​

The Garden Bar is an open-air space encircled by authentic raw brick walls and lush hanging plants. A raised section offers sheltered booths, while bar seating is scattered throughout the space. This vibrant area is ideal for gatherings such as bucks' parties, 21st celebrations, or any occasion to get together with friends. ​

Featuring plush blue velvet seating, marble-effect tables, elegant pendant lighting, and a statement bookshelf, the room offers a warm and sophisticated ambiance perfect for exclusive gatherings and small events.
