Alpha Shows Theatre

Alpha Studio Theatre is a versatile and fully equipped creative venue located in Altona North. Housed within a 400sqm warehouse conversion, the space is purpose-built for performance, featuring a permanent 10m x 7m black-painted stage and a total 10m x 12m theatre area with flexible seating configurations. This adaptable layout makes it ideal for theatre productions, dance rehearsals, creative workshops, live performance recordings, martial arts classes, and more. The venue includes essential amenities such as basic stage lighting (additional fee), a PA system (AirPlay and AUX compatible), a mirrored rear wall (concealed behind curtains) for movement-based activities, and a director’s station with tables at the back of the space. Guests are welcomed through a reception foyer furnished with couches and theatrical costume displays, while a green room upstairs (additional fee) and a ground-level dressing room support performers behind the scenes. Additional features include a full kitchen (for storage and basic usage, not for full catering/cooking), bathroom with shower, free high-speed WiFi, and theatre split-system heating.
