The Howard Hadley Gallery is a dynamic exhibition and event space. It provides access to other spaces and is best used for more casual cocktail events. It features temporary exhibitions and regular displays of some of John Eldershaw’s early watercolours which were exhibited at Hadley’s long ago, artworks by Tom Samek, and some of the winning artworks of the Hadley’s Art Prize.
This gallery is named after Howard Hadley, one of the early landlords who was himself an artist and art collector. Howard and his father were passionate about art and their collection was shown throughout the hotel, including works by prominent landscape artists such as Haughton Forrest.
