The Optus Stadium and the surrounding Park is located east of the Perth Central Business District, on the Burswood Peninsula. In July 2022, Optus Stadium was awarded Venue of the Year at the Stadium Business Awards in Manchester. With views of the picturesque Swan River and Perth city in the west and the foothills in the east, this 60,000 seat, world-class, multi-purpose Stadium hosts a variety of sports and entertainment events, including Australian Football League, International and Big Bash League cricket, soccer, rugby league and union, plus concerts. Accommodating events of two to 2,000 guests, Optus Stadium’s function spaces offer a range of settings suitable for all occasions. More than 18 specially designed event spaces are available 365 days a year throughout the Stadium offering a mix of city, Swan River and playing surface views, which can host events of all sizes and formats. With an informal setting and a relaxed open-air atmosphere, the Sports Lounge is ideal for cocktail functions or medium-sized seated events of up to 800 guests. The room is controlled by a wireless touchscreen tablet, which allows localised management of room lighting, audio, projector displays, IPTV media players and blinds. Two 3x3 LCD TV screen walls and six LCD TV screens. Optimised For 16:9 format presentations. Two 100 inch built-in motorised projector screens located on the south side of the room.
