Powerhouse Parramatta is Australia’s newest cultural landmark, located on the banks of the Parramatta River in the heart of Western Sydney. Designed by internationally acclaimed architects Moreau Kusunoki and Genton, this world-class museum and event destination brings together architecture, culture, sustainability and innovation in one striking 6-Star Green Star building. Opening in 2026, the venue offers a distinctive setting for gala dinners, conferences, product launches, VIP events and cultural celebrations, with direct access to transport links, world-class exhibitions and a dedicated events and hospitality team. The Cinema and Bar is a purpose-built event space designed for film screenings, speaker programs, conferences, and intimate social events. The 55-seat cinema features advanced technical capabilities including a DCI-compliant 2.5mm Direct View LED screen with minimum 2K full container resolution, a Dolby 7.1 surround sound system, isolated acoustic ceilings, and flexible blackout curtains that can also be opened to allow natural light into the space. Directly connected to the cinema, the Cinema Bar offers a curated wine and cocktail menu within a relaxed small-bar setting, creating a seamless pre- and post-event experience. Accessible via lift across both levels and connected to the West Building via the bridge link to Level 3, the space provides a polished and immersive environment for screenings, launches, and intimate gatherings.
