Baix

Baix is a neighbourhood restaurant and wine bar located at 81 Bay Street, Brighton VIC 3186, in Melbourne's Bayside. The venue brings together three distinct spaces — The Vasari Room, Baix Restaurant and 81 Bay Wine Bar — creating a versatile destination for private dining, celebrations, corporate functions and larger events. The Full Venue offers exclusive use of all three spaces, creating a private, multi-layered event experience across Baix. Guests can move between the intimate Vasari Room, the moody and sophisticated Baix Restaurant, and the larger, more dynamic 81 Bay Wine Bar. The full venue can accommodate approximately 160 guests, supporting both seated dining and lively cocktail-style celebrations. The different spaces allow organisers to create distinct areas for dining, drinks, mingling and entertainment, while the Baix team can tailor the event experience around the occasion. The venue is particularly suited to weddings, milestone birthdays, corporate celebrations, private gatherings and signature culinary events.
