Paint N Unwind Studio is a furnished creative space located on the ground floor of the Botanica building in South Brisbane, just a few minutes’ walk from the Cultural Centre, South Bank and West End. Designed for hands-on creative experiences and flexible gatherings, the studio provides an easy-to-access setting where guests can work, create, collaborate and socialise in a relaxed environment. South Brisbane Station is approximately a five-minute walk away, with the Cultural Centre busway, Brisbane Metro and numerous bus routes also nearby. The Creative Studio and Courtyard combines an approximately 43sqm open-plan studio with an adjoining outdoor courtyard, creating nearly 80sqm of flexible event space. Two sets of bifold doors open completely onto the courtyard, allowing the indoor and outdoor areas to function as one space and bringing in strong north-west afternoon light. The studio features a 4.5-metre ceiling, polished concrete floors and glazed tile walls, while mobile tables can be quickly rearranged into communal, circular or open-floor layouts. The space accommodates up to 24 guests seated at tables or up to 50 guests standing and includes a kitchenette with sink, fridges and microwave, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi and power throughout. BYO food and drinks are welcome, making the venue suitable for art and craft workshops, creative classes, team planning days, corporate offsites, wellbeing sessions, content shoots and small celebrations. The studio is self-access, with guests provided a PIN for entry and responsible for setup and pack-down within their booked time. Hire rates start at $35 + GST per hour with a two-hour minimum, with half-day and full-day options available, plus a $50 + GST cleaning fee per booking. The flexible setup, indoor-outdoor flow and creative-friendly finishes make the space particularly suited to events where organisers want the freedom to customise the environment around their activity.
