Opened in 1856 as the Library’s original reading room, The Ian Potter Queen’s Hall is one of Melbourne’s most breathtaking historical venues. Having undergone significant renovations, The Ian Potter Queens Hall has been miraculously restored to reveal it’s original 19th century heritage design. By day, The Ian Potter Queen’s Hall is open to the public as a reading room and is home to the Australian literature, chess and bridge collections. By night, it is available to transform into a one of a kind special event space, taking full advantage of its historic setting and gorgeous features. This hall can accommodate up to 500 guests. With entry via a grand marble staircase, the hall lends a sense of drama and exclusivity to any occasion, and is equipped with a dedicated suite of banquet furniture and integrated AV. The Ian Potter Queens Hall is perfect for: Cocktail Party venue Melbourne | Networking venue Melbourne | Corporate Function venue Melbourne
