Rockpool Bar & Grill Sydney is Australia’s most beautiful dining room. Situated in the sensational City Mutual Building, a 1936 Emil Sodersteen-designed American style art deco skyscraper, the dining style is simple and uncomplicated – perfectly wood fire-grilled meats and seafood from Australia’s very best producers – a perfect match to what is Australia’s greatest wine list. Rockpool Sydney offers five stunning spaces available for private events, including The Balcony – an impressive semi-private space overlooking the restaurant below, which is surrounded by magnificence of art deco marble pillars and ornate ceiling. Also, four fully private rooms offer discreet spaces for closed-door business meetings and presentations, and more personal celebratory occasions. Positioned on level one, with views of the bustling Hunter Street, the Hunter Private Dining Room offers complete privacy and is our largest private dining room. It can accommodate up to 30 guests for a sit-down event. Maximum 30 guests are seated across three round tables and a maximum of 22 guests can be seated across one long table in the Hunter Room. The Hunter can also be set up as one long table for up to 22 guests.
