Situated on the rooftop of one of Adelaide CBD's most historically significant buildings and boasting postcard views, 2KW Bar + Restaurant is the go-to for locals and visitors from near and far.

Whether you are popping in for a pre-show rooftop cocktail, planning a long Sunday lunch or hosting a special celebration or event, love is in the detail at 2KW.

The Loggia bar is 2KW’s striking first impression. The beautifully appointed lounge area features dark timbers, racked ceilings, bi fold windows, fire place and copper clad bar. It’s the ideal year-round option: cool and bright in summer, warm and welcoming in winter and classy and comfortable all year round. This space suits stand up canape style events of 60 guests or a sit down events of 40 guests.

The loggia can be booked in conjunction with our Restaurant for stand up canape events of 150 guests or for sit down events of 110 guests. 

2KW Bar & Restaurant, Loggia 

MANIAX was the first Urban Axe Throwing company in Australia, established in 2014 in Sydney NSW. They are also the largest in Australia, with venues in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide. MANIAX has had close to 500,000 people through their doors across Australia, which equates to approx 25 million axes thrown! That’s with no significant axe-idents beyond a splinter.

The perfect way to change up your office Christmas party, or team building activity. Both newbies and pros alike can let off some steam and sharpen their skillsets by taking part in a tournament-style competition. Battle it out with your comrades for the grand title. MANIAX doesn't just teach you how to throw an axe, they create a fun and thrilling environment for your group or team.

MANIAX Adelaide is located just off Port Road on Light Terrace, they're a hop skip and a jump away from the Thebarton tram stop. It is smack bang in the middle of the hip inner west hub with restaurants such as Bloom, the Wheatsheaf just around the corner and trendy cafes such as Mr Sunshines. 

MANIAX Adelaide is LICENCED to serve alcohol. You're able to purchase an ice-cold craft beer, wine or cider after your session. 

They have pizzas for purchase on-site, and other snacks such as chips, chocolate bars and non-alcoholic drinks available for purchase at the venue. Alternatively, if you would like something more substantial to eat whilst at the venue, they have some other food and beverage packages you can check out here. 

MANIAX Adelaide can accommodate groups of up to 100 persons. Large group or corporate bookings can be arranged. The venue has 4 group lanes (two targets) and 5 Quick Chuck lanes (single targets) onsite.

The function pack works as a guide in planning your event; however, they will work closely with you to tailor an offering that suits your needs and results in a truly memorable and stress-free event.

This space offers charming booth seating against a red brick backdrop and allows full access to the bar while taking advantage of the classic hotel atmosphere. They can accommodate up to 30 guests.

Located just outside the Adelaide CBD, The Joiners is one of Adelaide’s oldest pubs, with a modern twist. This recently renovated establishment maintains many of the stunning historic features that date back to over 150 years.

The Joiners' Front Bar is a classic pub atmosphere with direct access to the Main Bar. It is a private space for you to enjoy a cocktail style event. The Front Bar can accommodate up to 60 guests. The best thing is, they don't charge a hire fee for this space.

The Joiners, Front Bar

Adelaide Zoo has a range of 6 wonderful indoor and outdoor venues, perfect for your next function.

Surrounded by the stunningly charming Asian rainforest, host your function in Immersion Longhouse, right next to the Sumatran tiger and orangutan exhibits. This undercover outdoor venue is constructed out of natural materials that blend with the garden environment.

Begin your function with sunset pre-dinner drinks or stay on for the night for a cocktail party or intimate dinner. This function space is sure to make an impression when coupled with a tiger feed. 

Venue hire includes furniture, white linen table cloths and napkins, crockery, cutlery, glassware and required staffing. Background music such as a small acoustic band or iPhone music is permitted.

Immersion Longhouse can fit from 50 guests seated (conditions apply) to 80 guests (undercover) and 120 guests standing (entire venue).

Adelaide Zoo, Immersion Longhouse

Hains & Co provides the perfect setting for a private soirée in our cosy inside bar area.

Nestled in a hidden laneway in Adelaide’s west-end, Hains & Co is an iconic gin and cocktail bar surrounded by beautiful heritage buildings. Their inside bar area offers a charming retreat where you can share delectable drinks and great conversations. You’d never know you they are in the heart of the city, as their cosy haven invites you to unwind with tailored drinks, soaking in the ambiance of times gone by.

Their inside bar area can accommodate 40 - 70 guests as an exclusive area for you, at certain times. On Fridays and Saturdays, it is available as an exclusive area up until 9pm, after which time it will be available to the public.   
Choose between a drinks & nibbles package for a set number of hours or as a  minimum bar table so you can simply drink as you go.  As a gin bar, it’s good to know that gin & tonics are included in their basic drinks package. If you want to impress your guests with a bespoke cocktail on arrival or have something special in mind, their place is perfect for it.

Their kitchen serves up delectable house-made bar snacks, and you can view the menu in the attachments.

Available for groups of up to 80 people using just one section of our venue or large private events.
