Conference Centre (Melbourne Polytechnic)

Melbourne Polytechnic Conference Centre is located at Preston, which is just 9KM north of the Melbourne CBD, and a 20-minute drive from Melbourne International Airport. The conference centre can accommodate conferences, meetings or events for up to 200 people. The centre has seven meeting and syndicate rooms of varying seating capacity to suit your needs. Melbourne Polytechnic offer a reception area with a large LCD screen, spacious foyers on both floors (these work well as registration and waiting areas) and on-site parking. Syndicate Rooms 1 & 2 are great spaces for training, meetings and workshops. These rooms can be transformed to accommodate various layouts and features a built-in data projector, screen, audio and whiteboards. The Syndicate Rooms 1 & 2 can accommodate from 60 guests standing to 80 guests seated. Syndicate Rooms 1 & 2 also work well as a breakout room, conveniently located next to the Gerald Maynard Room. This versatile space can be separated by partitions to create 2 smaller rooms.
