Sydney Fish Market is Australia’s home of seafood and a major waterfront destination at Blackwattle Bay in Glebe, Sydney. The new market brings together seafood retail, dining, education and events under its distinctive wave-shaped roof, with the Sydney Seafood School providing a dedicated setting for cooking experiences, private events and corporate gatherings. The school is located on the Mezzanine Level of the new Sydney Fish Market, overlooking the waterfront. The Garagula Room is a flexible small-event space located at street level in the north-east corner of the building, opening directly onto Civic Plaza and the Eastern waterfront boardwalk with views across Blackwattle Bay. The name Garagula means “ebb and flow of the tide” in Gadigal language, reflecting the room’s strong connection to its waterfront surroundings. The space accommodates up to 16 guests in a boardroom layout and can also be arranged for private dining, theatre-style gatherings and cocktail events. Food and beverage can be organised before or after meetings through Ngara, a preferred external supplier, or the wide range of dining options available throughout the Sydney Fish Market precinct.
