The Rocks Rooms is located on level one and offers complete privacy for your event. It includes two areas, a seated dining room and a small bar area for canapes or drinks. This is the most flexible of our spaces, allowing for a variety of experiences. We offer this space to be booked for both seated and canape-style events. As part of Hunter St Hospitality's Premium Restaurant Group, this space offers exceptional flexibility, with the option to enjoy menus from any of our Argyle Stores restaurants: Saké Restaurant & Bar, Sahtein, The Cut Bar & Grill and Ananas as well as a special hertiage menu exclusive to this space. We can tailor dining experiences to suit your event, ensuring a premium and memorable occasion for your guests. Minimum Spend and Gratuity Our Private Dining Room require a minimum spend on food and beverages and a 10% service charge applied to the final bill. Menus Available We offer a selection of set menu options from four of our premium restaurants. Dietary requirements can be accommodated with prior notice, as we regularly cater to a range of dietary needs. Beverages are served on on consumption or one of our beverage packages are available. Saké Restaurant & Bar Sahtein The Cut Bar & Grill Ananas Argyle Stores Room Layout This completely private room has a dining area and an adjoining bar section with couches and coffee tables. Dining tables are set up based on your group's preference and final number attending. We can seat up to 60 guests across two long tables and up to 32 guests on one long table, All tables are rectangular in shape and can be configured to a custom layout, we provide table linens and all place settings. For cocktail style events, the room can host up to 100 guests. Please note that The Rocks Rooms is not wheelchair accessible. Room Styling The space allows for entertainment hire, DJ, Band, etc. We have a preferred AV supplier we can place you in touch with to organise screens and microphones as needed for presentations. Please be aware that candles and open flames are not permitted as we are a heritage-listed building. We do allow temporary banners, floral arrangements, photo booths etc. Access to the room is only via a stairwell, no lift access is possible with this space. Please discuss with us your plans for room styling when making your reservation over the phone so we can advise what will and will not be possible regarding your function. Duration and Access Times Bookings in our private rooms are for an entire service duration, we do not have a limited time, however, lunch bookings will be limited to a bump out time of 4pm. Bump in times are strictly between 10:30 am and 11:30 am for lunch events and 4:30pm and 5:30pm for dinner events. Guests are to arrive from 12pm onwards or 6pm onwards. Exact timing of food service is unable to be guaranteed as we operate a dining room simultaneously along with our private spaces. If you have limited timing for a lunch or dinner, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate this. Deposits and Terms & Conditions A 50% deposit of the quoted minimum food and beverage spend is required to secure this private dining room, with full deposit payment due 14 days prior to your reservation.
