This room is found just next to the main hall and is a bright and versatile space with fantastic views over our garden space. The Gibson Hall function rooms all offer something different and unique. In summer the large doors can be fully opened back, inviting guests to enjoy the outside space and sunshine. For summer parties at the venue the room becomes an extension of the garden and if the weather is a little cooler, offers guests somewhere inside to mingle, whist still enjoying views over the pretty courtyard garden and lawn.
The Space can be used as a reception area before proceeding into the main hall for dinner, but also as an exhibition and catering area for conference events, as a break out area, or a relaxed lounge / bar space after guests have dined in the main hall. We always hire Gibson Hall exclusively, so you will have full flexibility to use the space however best suits your event. The layout of the venue is such that guests can arrive, use the cloakroom facilities and then enter the garden room without seeing the main hall, giving you the opportunity of keeping the hall a secret for a big unveiling of the main event. This works brilliantly for themed events as any styling design can be used in the corridor to the cloakroom and through the room to give the guests a flavour of what they will enjoy as they enter the stunning main hall and benefit from the full theme set-up.
The room overlooks the secluded courtyard garden which is one of the hall’s most popular features for summer entertaining and a rarity in this part of the City and indeed the ability to hire a garden in London is a certainly a treat.
The Space can be used on its own for smaller conferences, dinners or receptions - it is an adaptable venue hire and has recently been transformed into a range of spectacular party experiences, including a state-of-the-art lounge and a winter wonderland.
