About Geffrye Museum

The Georgian Room was originally the living quarters of the Almshouse Chaplain. It is now an elegant paneled room decorated in early Georgian style and hung with paintings from the museum’s collection. Ideal for a wide range of events from meetings and talks to intimate receptions and private parties, the room can be used independently or combined with a private view of the museums galleries.

Hi, I'm Charles, Commercial Manager at the Geffrye Museum of the Home. We are always listed as one of the top hidden gems of London but... we aren't that hidden! We are a little difficult to spell though so I won't be offended if your email auto-corrects, hopefully to something hilarious. I look forward to welcoming you to our Hoxton gem soon.
