The contemporary styling of the amber energy® Lounge is keenly appreciated by event organisers looking to inject prestige when first impressions count. Floor to ceiling windows offer unobstructed views of Pontcanna Fields to the north and the Cardiff skyline to the South while patio doors open to the executive balcony seats of our famous Pavilion. This really is a room with a view.


Amber Energy Lounge

Sophia Gardens Cardiff

This is the big one. A large and versatile event space in the heart of Cardiff where anything is possible.

Our largest room with a theatre capacity of 800, The Sophia Hall has played host to countless large scale events since it opened for the 1999 Cricket World Cup. This large event space in the heart of Cardiff, allows organisations to have a large blank canvas to create their event, meeting or conference. 

Britains Got Talent auditions, Mercedes BenzHall of Fame Dinner, Christmas Parties and The SSE Rugby WorldCup Party have all been elevated by the scaleof the floor space, ceiling height and groundlevel access which combine to make this the room of choice when size matters.


Sophia Hall

When utilised in conjunction with the Sophia Hall, the two rooms combine to create one of Cardiff’s largest and most  flexible event facilities.

The Legends Lounge is a  flexible and ‘event practical’ space situated on the ground floor of National Cricket Centre at Sophia Gardens.

The position of this function suite ensures that it suits exhibitions requiring easy access for both exhibitors and guests.
 In addition, when utilised in conjunction with the Sophia Hall, the two rooms combine to create one of Cardiff ’s largest and most flexible event facilities.

Sophia Gardens provide exceptional conferencing facilities with an array of room choices in the heart of Cardiff.

Elegant and contemporary in design our collection of 23 executive boxes provide the ideal environment for meetings and break-out rooms.

With breath-taking views of the pitch and the luxury of your own exclusive space and outstanding food – an executive box is the perfect space to put plans into action and meet with your stakeholders.

Partition walls provide flexibility to increase the single box capacity of 15 to quadruple-box capacity of 60 and everything in between.
