The Wilmington Room at The Grand is an event venue available to hire in Eastbourne for workshops and training days.

All the conference and banqueting facilities are discreetly, yet superbly, organised so as to blend in with the smooth running of the hotel. 

Importance is placed on meeting the flexibility, comfort and support required for every Guest whether it’s for a private board meeting, a major product launch or a memorable civil ceremony and reception. 

Undeniably one of the most prestigious, self-contained, conference venues in the south of England is our Devonshire suite, which provides a unique aggregate of resource. 

Over three floors, the suite comprises the Compton Room for conferences of up to 300 delegates, the Jevington Lounge with bar, reception area and four syndicate rooms, and the Silverdale Room with a banqueting capacity for up to 200. 

A further eleven very individual suites, rooms and galleries are available for various sized functions – a board meeting for 10, a theatre-style presentation for 80 delegates to a cocktail reception for 180.

The Gallery at The Grand is a stylish private dining Space available to hire in Eastbourne.

For more intimate gatherings we are proud to be able to offer the most historic room in the hotel. This room would have originally been known as the ‘Minstrels Gallery’. Towering above the famous Great Hall it really is a room fit for royalty. This totally unique setting provides your party with privacy hand in hand with the benefit of being seduced by the buzz and atmosphere of the Great Hall below.

This beautiful room has high ceilings and magnificent crystal chandeliers.  An added advantage is that this bright room has floor to ceiling windows, which look out to the front of the hotel and Garden Terrace.
