The Salon is named after Paul Kruger, president of ‘Transvaal’ and leader of the Peasant Uprising in 1900. He arrived at Hotel Des Indes on December 7th 1900 and stayed for one month. He used the balcony of the Salon to address the locals. The Salon Paul Kruger has a lot of daylight and a beautiful view on the Lange Voorhout due to the floor to ceiling windows. As the Salon can only be accessed through the Ballroom or Salon van Brienen, it is only available to book in combination with one of the adjacent Salons.
