Named after William Caxton, the 15th Century pioneer of printing in England, this modest space is ideal for meetings of up to 8 people.

In conjunction with the Salisbury Room it works perfectly as a breakout space or as a lunch and refreshment area. Chairs and tables can be arranged to suit.

Caxton

St Bride Foundation

With a period fireplace and stunning views of St. Bride’s Church, the Passmore Edwards room provides an inspiring space for meetings and gatherings of all kinds. The full sized board room table can be rearranged according to requirements.

The walls are lined with books dating back to the 16th century and the space adjoins the William Blades Library, home to many hundreds of volumes charting the history of early printing, letterforms and calligraphy.

Passmore Edwards

Our largest events space, Bridewell Hall is suitable for weddings, conferences, formal dinners or parties. The adjoining Farringdon Room can be hired as a break-out room, lunch room or bar to maximise capacity.

Hanging on the rear wall is an oil painting by Frank Salisbury, ‘The Heart of the Empire’ depicting the 1935 Jubilee Service, generously lent to the foundation by Her Majesty the Queen.

Bridewell hall

Complete with a portrait of 18th century writer Samuel Richardson hanging over a real working fireplace, The Salisbury Room is perfect for a top level board meeting or small wedding ceremony.

The bespoke walnut table was commissioned especially for the room. It can be reconfigured in a number of ways to suit the occasion.

The adjacent Caxton Room can be hired as a break-out room, registration area or catering space to maximise capacity.
