The Sound Bank

The property, an ex-Barclays bank and familiar landmark to the local community, dates back to 1925 and is located opposite Kennington Park, only a stone’s throw from the world renowned Oval Cricket Ground in South East London.

We have now renovated this unique space into a superb multi-creative 2,000 sq. ft hub without stripping the building of its original character. Rebuilt to spec, we retained, restored and infused many of the bank's original features into our studio’s very fabric. The ground floor of the property is wheelchair accessible and features two podcast studios, one of which is easily adapted into a visual production photostudio, allowing for a wide array of content creation. Our meeting room was designed to facilitate the operation of training courses and workshops, and the kitchen space, which features a pool table, is the perfect place for members to decompress after a recording session.

The Vault Studios The basement of our building, featuring ex-bank vault doors, includes a fully equipped live room that connects into two separate recording studios, one of which is designed to be an interchangeable fluid mixing stage capable of seamlessly switching between stereo and 5.1/7.1 surround sound mixing, for all rendering types applicable for television broadcast (PCM, SACD, DVD/BD Audio, DVD & Blu-ray)...
