London Inspiration

Located within the Playfair Building, this meeting room is a great location for meetings with 9 guests or less. The Conan Doyle Room is named after Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, who studied at The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in the late 1800s and went on to write the Sherlock Holmes books. This room looks out onto Hill Square. It is a perfect space for small board room meetings, interviews or group work.

Located in the modern Prince Philip Building, this space has everything needed for a great meeting! The Prince Philip Lower Ground Room is located in the basement of the Prince Philip Building. The room is equip with the facilities to set up full audio visual function when required. It is a great breakout space for large events being hosted in our Deacon's Suite (which contains an event in the same building).

The Wolfson Hall is a large space with a contemporaneo style suitable for a multitude of purposes; conferences, lectures, exhibitions and parties. The room is functionally built with full black-out facilities, dimmed lighting and the latest AV are all standard. The room has access to natural daylight and air conditioning function. This Hall can be divided into two spaces with a flexible dividing wall making it practical for break out activities. 

Breakout Spaces

Wolfson Hall

Located within the Playfair Building, this room is decorated in reds with oak paneled walls and historic books lining the room. The Reception Room is an extension of the Fellows Library and is fitted out with glass cabinets containing historical medical journals dating back centuries.

This room is a functional space with access to natural day light, dimmed lighting and the latest AV can be installed for meetings e.g. portable TV plasma and video conferencing facilities. 

Reception Room

Located in the modern Prince Philip Building, this space has everything needed for a great meeting! The Charter Suite is based on the ground floor of the Prince Philip Building. This room can be used as one large space, or split into two or three individual rooms. Both ends have built in AV and plasma screens. Our on site AV team can also set up video conferencing within this room as an added service. 

Charter Suite

Located within Ten Hill Place Hotel, this room can accommodate tables of up to 25 on one long table, or up to 50 in a Restaurant style layout. It is the perfect venue for a private dining experience with family friends or a work outing. Out team will cater for you throughout the evening ensuring you make memories to last and have an outstanding experience! 

Big Snug

Located in the modern Quincentenary Building, this space has everything needed for a great meeting! The GB Ong Room is the largest of the three meetings rooms on the ground floor of the Quincentenary Building. This room is a functional space with full black-out facilities, dimmed lighting and the latest AV are all standard. The room is fitted with a built in screen and over head projection along with a speakers lectern. 

The G B Ong Room

The Logan Turner Room is an elegant room lined with oak panelling brought from the 1697 "Old Surgeons' Hall". The Delft tiles around the fireplace were gifted to the College from Minto House, Chambers Street during renovation work in 1914. It is naturally decorated and best suited for boardroom style meetings but can also convert into a functional reception room for evening events/ weddings. 

Logan Turner

Located within Ten Hill Place Hotel, this room can accommodate tables of up to 12 on one long table, or up to 16 in a Restaurant style layout. It is an intimate private dining room for small celebrations or gatherings with friends and family. We will receive a 3 course menu pre-order before dining events and our team will be hands on throughout the duration of your stay to make sure your experience is outstanding!

The Wadsworth Room

Located in the modern Quincentenary Building, this space has everything needed for a great meeting! The Tausend Room is one of the meeting rooms on the ground floor of the Quincentenary Building. This room is functionally built with full black-out facilities, dimmed lighting and the latest AV are all standard. The room also has a built in screen with overhead projection for presentation use.
