Graduate Centre - 204 

**The Great Hall at The People's Palace is a stunning auditorium for hire in London.**

The People's Palace is home to the unique art-deco venue - The Great Hall. Located in the heart of east London and originally opened in the 1930s, the Great Hall has seen the likes of Damon Albarn, Fleetwood Mac, Iron Maiden and the Rolling Stones grace its stage, which boasts one of the largest in London.

Full restored and reopening in September 2012, these refurbishments are the most sympathetic of the various restoration schemes over the years. 

The purpose was to restore historic elements of the recently Grade II listed building as well as to make it more comfortable, with up-to-date sound, lighting, audio-visual and theatre systems.

In the Great Hall, the original 1930s colour scheme was discovered under layers of paint that had built up over the years and was recreated. 

The Hall's wooden floorboards have been cleaned and, using old photographs, the decorative lantern in the centre of the hall has been recreated.

The Perrin lecture theatre in the award winning Blizard Building provides a modern venue ideal for standalone lectures, conferences for up to 400.
The building was designed by leading architect Will Alsop in partnership with Amec with its 9,000m2 providing world-class teaching and research facilities including open-plan laboratories, 
office space and the 400-seat Perrin Lecture Theatre.

Conversation starter and award winner ‘Neuron Pod’ is a state-of-the-art purpose built learning space and now private hire venue at the world famous Research unit at Queen Mary University. The multi-functional Neuron Pod can accommodate an array of private and corporate events from conferences & product launches to away days and drink receptions, ensuring a ‘wow factor’ for guests.
Located in the heart of East London within the architecturally renowned Blizard Institute, just a short walk from Whitechapel station. The Interior features an array of atmospheric coloured lighting whilst the dramatic external lighting of the ‘flexible hair like dentrites’ that sway and move in the wind has made the space instantly recognisable and has been awarded the prestigious LIT Lighting Design Award.
