In the shadows of West Smithfield’s famous meat market is Origin City, a new family restaurant showcasing a truly authentic pasture to plate, nose to tail dining experience. From the food to the drink - and a few personal touches - Origin City is an expression of our family’s love of British fine dining, Scottish produce and the Provençal way of life.
Working with what is in season, the chef and his team celebrate every part of the animal, taking traditional dishes and giving them an innovative twist. With our own in-house butchery and state-of-the-art ageing unit, we really are at the helm of the whole process, from pasture to plate.
Situated in a large and airy listed building, looking out over the green of Smithfield, Origin City occupies a tranquil spot, and yet is in the heart of The City, just moments from Farringdon and the Elizabeth Line, and a gentle stroll from St Pauls, Moorgate, Bank, Blackfriars and Chancery Lane.
