Following the enormous success of zuma & ROKA Rainer Becker decided to move away from Japanese cuisine and culture for the first time in over a decade. in 2013 he introduced Oblix, a dual dining experience on the 32nd floor of the shard – europe’s tallest building.
Oblix is a destination bar and kitchen offering a refined urban experience and contemporary cuisine.
Located in the 32nd floor of the shard, the open kitchen proudly showcases the wood fired oven, charcoal grill and rotisserie that are the heart and soul of the Oblix kitchen.
Oblix east is a bar and lounge with views stretching over the city, tower bridge and all the way out to canary wharf. Enjoy signature cocktails while lounging and listening to live music and DJs. Oblix east offers diners an eclectic mix of innovative seasonal dishes inspired by the booming London food scene along with an exciting bar bites menu that takes food to new heights.
