The Purple Owl

The Purple Owl is a vibrant fun cocktail bar and has a sip-and-paint / pottery arts space, located in Wandsworth Town, South West London. Designed to host a wide range of events, the venue offers flexible indoor and outdoor areas with a full-venue capacity of 150–200 guests or 90 seated. Fully equipped for private hires, parties, and live events, The Purple Owl features professional DJ and performance equipment, including Pioneer CDJ-3000s, a DJM-750 mixer, Technics vinyl turntables, and Function One surround sound. A 3-metre drop-down projector screen makes the space ideal for screenings, presentations, and creative events. The venue operates a fully licensed bar from 8:00am to 1:30am, serving an extensive selection of wines, cocktails, and spirits, alongside six draft beers including Asahi, Moretti, Neck Oil, Guinness, Cruzcampo, and Jubel. A spacious front garden provides additional outdoor capacity for up to 60 guests, making it a perfect spot for summer gatherings and daytime socials. During the day, our deli and café serves specialty hot drinks, fresh food, and a variety of vegetarian and vegan options. As the evening unfolds, guests can enjoy craft beers, signature cocktails, and classic favorites in a creative and welcoming atmosphere.
