The Great Gallery is the grandest entertaining space at the Museum and is located on the first floor. It was purpose built by Sir Richard Wallace to house the masterpieces of the Collection and contains works by Canaletto, Murillo and Rubens, as well as the iconic Laughing Cavalier. This spectacular room can accommodate up to 250 standing guests for a drinks reception, or up to 160 guests for a seated dinner on round or long tables. The Gallery also works as a spectacular presentation space, accommodating up to 200 seated guests and a small stage.
