1901 Arts Club is an elegant venue that can be hired exclusively by individuals, groups and organisations for a multitude of purposes.
We are happy to tailor packages to suit your individual requirements.
The three main spaces of 1901 Arts Club offer a variety of options for meetings, seminars, away-days, training sessions, small conferences, chamber music performances, event launches and corporate and private entertaining. The spaces can be hired during the day by the hour for meetings and workshops, individually or in combination; evenings are charged on a flat rate event fee.
The GROUND FLOOR SALON is an open versatile space, measuring 10m x 3.5m. It has capacity for up to 45 people theatre-style (or up to 20 people at a long board room table, or separate round cabaret tables). The Salon has a digital projector and screen installed for presentations and audio visual enhancements using your own laptop (VGA connection, or HDMI/Mini Display Port adapter) or through our DVD player.
Our Steinway grand piano (model C) is the only permanent item in the room and its use is included in the hire.
The room has adjustable (dimmable) lighting, and floor lamps, and tea-light candles may be lit with permission.
Wi-Fi is available throughout the building (included in your hire), and we can offer a single LAN internet connection for more stable streaming.
Hirers of the Salon also have access to our small second floor roof terrace where smoking is permitted.
Refreshments, catering and drinks packages are available.
Please note we do not operate on an hourly basis for evening hires so please select full day hire.
