Immerse yourself in the refined ambience and vast open Spaces. With beautifully patterned carpets and warm wooden accents throughout each Space. Barber-Surgeons' Hall is unmatched when it comes to sophisticated decor.

Approached through the welcoming and elegant Foyer, the Reception Room is ideal as a break out Space. Alternatively, you could use this Space as a reception room prior to lunch or dinner, a reception room for a private party, or a small ballroom. 

The room is bright and beautifully furnished. Housing the Barbers’ Company’s collection of barbers’ bowls and provides an interesting and inspiring backdrop.

The Reception Room

**Book The Great Hall at  Barber-Surgeon’s Hall, a beautifully laid out red-brick mansion situated in a tranquil residential square just off London Wall.**

The double fronted Hall features a series of interconnecting reception rooms, panelled with Japanese oak and filled with the treasures of the Barbers’ Company. 

The outside space offers a stunning terrace and a historic herb garden boasting the London Wall at its perimeter. The garden provides a beautiful backdrop from the terrace running the full length of the Great Hall. The Great Hall itself is flooded with natural light, bowed towards the west and dominated by a magnificent Holbein painting of Henry VIII uniting the Barbers’ and Surgeons’ Companies’s Hall.

Barber-Surgeon’s Hall is an elegant and welcoming venue in the heart of the city offering bespoke event management, on site catering and total commitment to the success of your event.

A paved, gated Terrace running the full length of the Great Hall, overlooking a section of the original London Wall offers wonderful al fresco entertaining opportunities. As early evening reception space or a break out area for conferencing, this is an outstanding asset to the venue.

With a series of elegant interconnecting rooms filled with warmth and natural light.  Amongst the remarkable features of the Great Hall is a charming musicians’ gallery, an exquisite silver display case and captivating portraits of Past Masters of the Company. The Hall is accessed by a private courtyard with magnificent stone statuary and a water fountain.

Built in Classical style, the Hall is furnished with period furniture and paintings which provide an elegant backdrop for events of all types.
Blessed with huge stained glass windows, the room is filled with natural light. The Hall can accommodate a maximum of 150 diners using the Horseshoe with Sprig layout.
