The Barge East Gardens is one of the largest Spaces for outdoor dining in East London, with over 30 tables, benches & barrels, seating over 300 guests. 

The gardens is a unique space filled with rustic garden furnishings and ambient festoon lighting, with flexibility for us to create bespoke areas amongst our homegrown produce for larger bookings. 

Ordering from our casual street kitchen menus, we have a variety of options and packages available no matter the occasion.

Boasting some of the finest riverside views of London’s incredible skyline and the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, this sky-high experience is about to become one of the hottest spots to book outdoors in Hackney Wick. 

Parties of 20 - 40 guests can privately hire our riverside rooftop for 4 hours 30, ordering food & drinks from The Flatbread Society’s menu, while taking in the stunning waterside views, ambient festoon lighting and buzzing atmosphere from our Gardens.

They can offer the following rooftop sittings: 12:00pm - 4:30pm OR 5:30pm - 10pm (close) for a small hire fee.

Barge East is an impressive bar & kitchen based upon a historic 114-year-old Dutch Barge and in 2019 was rated #1 on TripAdvisor. Boasting an unparalleled location at the junction of two of London's waterways the site offers views of the London skyline along with the Olympic stadium. 

With a capacity of 120, residing next to our beautiful outdoor garden and bar, we can really guarantee something special with a unique venue you wont forget. Our top deck is fully covered, meaning to can accommodate parties outdoors in all sorts of weather, with a bright and airy canopy area in between.

Barge East have a downstairs intimate dining space and bar for 50 people, and a captains cabin private dining Space for 10. Found in the heart of Stratford this is a great venue to hire in East London for any upcoming corporate event.
