The RWA’s Youngwood room is the perfect place to host a meeting, away day or even a creative workshop. The space is available for both day time and evening hire, and is a truly versatile space.

Suitable for meetings of up to 12 and can host guests in theatre style seating of up to 30.

The RWA is opening its iconic Grade II* listed landing and balcony for exclusive evening hire as well as the smaller Kenny Gallery for more intimate events.   

Whether you’re planning relaxed summer cocktails, a special celebration or a formal canapé reception, our impressive marble landing, overlooked by a breath-taking atrium and historic west-facing terrace, are the perfect setting to treat your clients, colleagues, friends and family. 

The Kenny Gallery and 1st floor spaces are suitable for 20 to 60 guests.

Royal West of England Academy

With beautifully constructed interiors filled with natural light, these 19th century galleries have housed works from the big names in British Art including Turner, Constable, Nash, and Grayson Perry 

You will have the opportunity to host your event among some of the best of contemporary and historic art, exhibition for a one-of-a-kind experience. Guests are encouraged to make the most of complimentary admission to our exhibitions. 

Our main galleries are suitable for 60 to 200 guests. Please get in touch for specific capacities depending on your layout.  

Hire of the galleries also includes use of our historic marble landing and outdoor, south-west balcony perfect for welcome drinks.

Partying in Bristol is unlike anywhere else on this fair island. They do things with a style that seems, and probably is, effortless.
