Gorilla's Main Bar area is at the front of the building and is used predominantly for brunch, dinner & late night parties. 
This space is bright and spacious during the day and transforms into another party bar / event space at night time. 
It is perfect for Networking events, Wedding Receptions, After work drinks, Parties and Room 2 spaces for our club events.

**Hire the Gin Parlour at Gorilla for a snug Space to host your private event** 

The mezzanine bar at Gorilla hosts our Gin Parlour. With plush, comfy booths overlooking the main bar, the Gin Parlour has a dedicated bar which is stocked with the best gins from around the world. 

This bar hire features small batch, hand crafted distillations including Gorilla's house produced buttered gin, supplying a syrupy tipple with a toffee taste, sure to make your mouth water. 

These gins are complimented by homemade tonic syrups and fresh fruits, for some pretty special G&Ts, guaranteed to keep your Guests in high spirits. 

The Gin Parlour can be hired exclusively for up to 80 standing Guests for drinks receptions and networking events.

Alternatively, use this Space for a private dinner, accommodating up to 50 Guests.

**In the heart of Manchester's University District is Gorilla, the perfect venue for meeting and private events hire in Manchester** 

Gorilla presents Guests with an array of Spaces available for hire for events from private parties to company private dining events.

The Studio is set apart from the rest of the bar and can be hired exclusively for a variety of events.

This Space is flooded with natural light, but with blinds for privacy, allowing for any event to feel exclusive and closed off.

The Studio is an ideal setting for a range of events from corporate meetings and training sessions, to wedding receptions and private parties of any kind. 

You can have the Space laid out as you wish with tables and chairs providing comfortable seating for you and your Guests.

Should you require the Space for an informal hire, remove the furnishings for a large dance floor that's ideal for private events and parties. 

Fully equipped with a bar, full  PA system, projector, screen and DJ equipment available; it is the perfect option to suit a variety of needs inclusively.



The Studio

We are very flexible at Reds BBQ. - Event Space. With our large restaurant area and a separate bar area room available, it is a top choice for all event types and private hires. 

In the venue, we have plenty of furniture we can keep in or move out / around the venue, to meet your needs and capacity requirements.

We also have our internal catering team to serve up a selection of delicious dishes, or we can offer the necessary catering facilities available on-site for any outside catering use. 

With plenty of drink package options available, you will certainly be spoilt for choice at Reds BBQ.

Built 1878 to house The Deaf Institute, this unusual event venue in the heart of the Manchester Metropolitan University Campus was rediscovered and refurbished in 2011. Spanning three bars across three floors, and including an 2 stages and a roof terrace, The Deaf Institute is now home to live music, comedy and club nights and has been the launching point for some of today’s biggest names in music. 

The Music Hall on the first floor comes with everything you could want for your private party and more! The room is dominated by an enormous mirror ball hanging beneath a beautiful domed ceiling set with wrap-around skylights and flooded with natural light. Ironwork stairs lead up to the fish-bowl mezzanine, which boasts a fantastic view of the bar and dance floor. The bar itself is banked with a beautiful retro-chic collection of speakers surrounded by the colourful flashes of parrots climbing the walls. The stage space is framed by luscious red-velvet drapes and faces band-stand style tiered seating, and that stage isn’t just for show. This hire also comes complete with artists’ dressing room, a smoking terrace, dedicated toilets & full production facilities.
