Our beautiful 39-seat private cinema is ideal for training, demonstrations, hybrid meetings with others joining via the web and, of course, any meeting where you wish to show video. The cinema can be used in conjunction with its bar (the Cine-bar) and the meeting room next door (First Room) to create breakout spaces. Alternatively, the cinema and cinebar can be used at the end of your event, for a film showing for your delegates.

The Old Bookroom

The Residents' Lounge is the city's ultimate hide away - discreetly lit with comfortable leather seating. Cool oak and slate grey floors set off a Steinway Grand Piano whilst glazed vistas under the pavement offer a unique people watching experience.

Ideal for launch parties and networking events this beautiful space can also open into the conference room for larger events.

The Residents' Lounge

Fifth one, is an elegant room with its own bar, it has two walls of glass and a terrace. The view is a breathtaking panorama across the city, out to the Welsh hills, Snowdonia and beyond! Watch the sun set over the river and enjoy the light as it streams into the room. 

This room is ideal for conferences, private dinners, drinks receptions and networking.

fifth two - so named because it is our second astounding event space on the fifth floor – logic. It has two lovely terraces, one overlooking the rooftops of Hope Street and the Metropolitan Cathedral. The other, our classic Hope Street Hotel view, looking out towards the Liver birds, River Mersey and the Welsh hills beyond.

Perfect for wedding breakfasts and parties, large conferences, meetings, exhibitions and networking events.
