The Second Tent (Wellness Den) – Summer in the Square
Located in the usually private Portman Square Gardens, Summer in the Square offers a rare opportunity to host an event in this beautiful green space during one of Marylebone’s most vibrant weeks.
The Second Tent is available to hire from Tuesday 8 to Friday 11 July 2025, between 5pm and 9pm, with capacity for up to 80 guests. It is ideal for more intimate summer gatherings, relaxed celebrations, networking events or wellness focused socials.
Your event will take place in a roped off stretch tent within the wider festival. This gives you a designated area for your guests while still enjoying the buzz of the live event around you – the perfect mix of atmosphere and privacy.
Hire Fee: £2,100 + VAT Catering packages available with food and drink allocation from £50pp and a premium package provided at £60pp.
Included in the hire fee:
• Fully dressed stretch tent with seating, lighting, bunting and shelter whatever the weather • Signage and roped entrance to clearly mark your event space • Dedicated event manager to support you before and during the evening • On site security • PA system and iPad with playlists (Please note: volume levels are managed in line with Portman Square regulations)
With event infrastructure already in place, this is a straightforward and great value option. You benefit from a well set up space in a central London garden without the need for additional build or equipment.
Guests are also welcome to enjoy the wider Summer in the Square festival, which runs until 8pm daily, adding even more to the experience.
All hire fees support this much loved free event, helping to keep Portman Square Gardens open and accessible for the whole community.
