As the crypt of St Mary Magdalene’s Church, its striking brickwork and vaulted ceiling make it an atmospheric setting for evening and daytime events. Tucked next to the Undercroft is the remarkable Chapel of St Sepulchre by Ninian Comper – over the years the chapel has been a favourite of film-makers, from ‘Les Misérables’ to ‘Band of Brothers'.
