Located in the museum’s West Hall, Space brings together remarkable exhibits that celebrate both the first space age and the future of space exploration. Space is available for evening hire and ideal for drinks receptions for up to 400 people or dinner for up to 200. As you enjoy your event experience, you will be surrounded by the Apollo 10 and Soyuz spacecraft, which in a world first are displayed side by side—where you can compare the differences between a spacecraft that orbited the moon and one that travelled to the International Space Station. Your guests can marvel at the radio headset Neil Armstrong used to communicate with Mission Control, the Sokol spacesuit worn by Helen Sharman, the first Briton in space and last but not the least, a three-billion-year-old piece of the moon, brought back to Earth by the Apollo 15.
