Hire the Common Room at 113 Chancery Lane, the Law Society for your next corporate event in London - whether that's for a top London meeting, an In Conversations event, a Company presentation, a Lecture, an Awards Dinner, or a conference, this is an ideal venue for your event. 

Walk up the sweeping marble staircase and you arrive at our largest and most prestigious room. The Common Room is adaptable for all types of events as it boasts a wedding license, stage, screen and top of the range sound & AV systems.

Mahogany panelling, graceful green marble pillars, 17th century stained glass windows and a peacock-tiled fireplace make this grand room wholly impressive for both conferences and entertaining, whilst the beautiful alcoves throughout the room make an impressive back drop for photographs.

Breakout spaces are available together with separate rooms for refreshments and drinks receptions.

The Common Room

Once the Law Society’s personal bookstore, The Old Bookshop is an ideal meeting room for smaller workshops, board meetings, training sessions or as a break out room. The room is well equipped with a fixed screen and projector. Smartly but simply decorated, with antique English oak panelling. The room is bathed in natural light and discreetly tucked away by the main entrance.

The David Lloyd George and Dining Room is ideal for medium sized meetings, boardroom lunches, and intimate dinners. 

The space consists of the main room and two smaller interconnecting break-out areas. The double height windows offering natural daylight, chandeliers, traditional wood panelling and classical furniture give these rooms an impressive, heritage feel.  The room can take up to 30 boardroom style, 24 u-shape, 65 theatre style or 40 cabaret style. The break-out spaces work really well as the catering area keeping it separate to the main room. The rooms are located on the ground floor with air conditioning.
