The best brunch spots in London for summer

The city is finally warming up – maybe a bit too much at times – which means one thing: it’s time to plan this weekend’s brunch plans.
Whether you are looking for a laid-back morning with a calming view or an all-out bottomless party, London’s brunch scene has something for every mood. Here are a few standout spots for brunch this summer in the city.

Willows
Willows is raising the bar when it comes to brunch standards in the city. This independent deli-to-restaurant concept, owned by two high school best friends, is inspired by the Scandinavian smörgåsbord, which is all about high-quality food and drinks. Their menu follows a ‘build-your-board’ idea where you can craft your own thoughtfully curated board to satisfy both your sweet and salty cravings. Their menu changes seasonally, and everything is made in-house, and you can tell.
Their breakfast cocktail selection includes sweet and refreshing drinks to cool you down after a long tube ride. Their iced espresso martini is one to start your day with. The ‘build-your-own-board’ concept allows you to choose from a selection of baked goods, including banana bread and sourdough, dairy options such as artisanal cheeses with fruit, your choice of protein, and a side of greens to balance out that martini.
Willows offers hosting options for both sit-down and mingling events, accommodating up to 40 seated guests and 50 standing guests.

Morena
Morena is for those who are just not waking up in time for the 11 am brunch that they regretfully planned the night before. This all-day brunch restaurant offers a Latin-inspired menu with a modern twist. You might recognise Morena from their NYC cookies that went viral on TikTok for their trendy and decadent flavours like Dubai Chocolate (yes, it’s still a trend) and Ube and Lavender. The cookies, available at the takeaway-focused cafe in Marylebone definitely live up to the hype. However, Morena in Belgravia is your go-to spot for pre-dessert.
Their brunch plates are just as creative as their cookies, with specialities like the strawberry matcha pancakes and birria sandwich. All-day brunch is served Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4:30 pm, and all day from 9 am on weekends. Whether or not you had a long Friday night (we don’t judge) or just had a lie-in, Morena will give you the Latin spice you need to start your day.
Morena’s Belgravia location has two floors and an inviting terrace. The entire venue is available to rent for events and can accommodate 100 standing guests and 85 seated.

Leaving both your stomach and Instagram very happy, Feya is an elegant cafe with marble textures, florals, and pastel interiors. The Marble Arch location is admired for its colourful murals and Insta-worthy decor. Feya’s menu has almost everything to match your mood – egg plates, acai bowls, street-food style dishes, loaded fries, pancakes, and so much more.
Don’t miss out on their speciality coffees and matchas. Feya serves authentic Arabic and Turkish coffee, as well as chai. Their coffee and matcha flavours are crave-worthy, with flavours like tiramisu and crème brulee. Feya offers a charming afternoon tea experience available at Marble Arch every day.
Feya is available for private hiring, catering, and custom cake orders with a standing capacity of 124 and a seated capacity of 60.

Cafe Laville
While we know and (sometimes) love the volume and vibrancy of London, we all need an escape sometimes. Cafe Laville is a cosy, Italian restaurant in the heart of London that offers picturesque views of Regent’s Canal and Little Venice with authentic Italian food. The serene and fairytale-like atmosphere is perfect for a day with the family, catching up with friends, or your next go-to date spot.
Their breakfast, served until 2 pm, skews slightly more British with favourites like the Eggs Benedict and Eggs Your Way. Their main menu includes fresh salads, grilled meats, and a generous selection of flavorful, homemade pastas. Their hearty dishes pair perfectly with their selection of white and red wines. They also have your classic summer favourites, including Aperol Spritzes and Bloody Marys.
