The Portal Trust Community Room is a slick new event space: a clean, bright, modern space, this room is a blank canvas that can be easily styled with décor and lighting to suit any event theme or vision. The space is ideal for arrival receptions prior to seating for dinner or moving to a late night party in the museum's central McLain Hall. The open plan room also has an in-built projector which can be used for evening presentations and theatre style talks.

The McLain Hall is at the heart of the Museum, featuring the originally mosaic marble floor that was laid in 1872 when the Museum was first opened. Lit my magnificent half-moon windows, the McLain Hall features wrought iron architecture and lofty ceilings that create an open and expansive space. With a large in-built bar, a dramatic spiral staircase and vibrant flanking galleries, the McLain Hall is a versatile and fun space for standing receptions, dinners, late night parties, breakfasts, awards dinner and themed parties.

At the heart of V&A East Storehouse is a cavernous central Collections Hall. This immersive space is surrounded by four huge floors of storage shelves and racking systems, with open shelves and objects as far as the eye can see. This space can be hired for an unforgettable dinner experience, with arrival drinks in the Welcome lobby. Or perhaps a drinks reception, where guests can mingle amongst priceless works of art.

Upon arrival to V&A East Storehouse, visitors enter into the Welcome Space. This bright and expansive space is perfect for an arrival drinks reception before a dinner in the impressive Collections Hall. Or, for those looking for more of a blank canvas, it is a customizable space, perfect for panel discussions, product launches or talks, alongside a Private View. Our Welcome Space benefits from moveable room dividers and clear surfaces for projections or video mapping.

The Dome is a versatile and iconic V&A South Kensington space for a wide range of event formats. Guests can enjoy corporate and private events out of hours against a backdrop of its beautiful marble pillars, domed ceiling, central Art Deco bar, backdrop of Medieval Renaissance sculpture, and famed Dave Chihuly glass chandelier. This iconic V&A space is ideal for an after-party or late night event due to its capacity for a dancefloor and late licensing up to 2am, a rare feature for a London museum.

The John Madejski Garden is one of the most elegant outdoor venues in central London, a real hidden treasure! The beautiful 19th Century terracotta façade overlooks a tranquil space with a paved ellipse with fountains which are illuminated at night. The space can stand guests for Summer parties and drinks receptions - and for late night events, guests can begin their evening within the Garden oasis before moving indoors for private dining or late night parties within other stunning spaces of the museum.
